If the Hypster music player bothers you, you can remove it pretty simply (if you use any sort of adblocking software). Just block the following URL and it will prevent the player from loading on the site: http://scm.hypster.com/script.php
Pro tip before anybody asks: Close the tab you're currently using and open a new one after adding the filter. Maybe the browser. I had to open a new tab to get it to work. Getting the site to work more properly again is awesome.
Yeah, that URL loads the entire frame. You've gotta nuke the frame itself afterwards to go back to normal. Kinda a shame - I dig it other than the frame URL issue. King was looking at inline players for awhile, something on the side or near the shoutbox, but none fit very well (besides the problem of music restarting on page changes). Maybe there's a pop-out option we can find, so you can just open the player window if you want to listen. Just thought of that one, dunno if it's an option.
Now that you mention it, I doubt these guys (106.3 The Buzz) are using Xenforo, but they have a pop-out thing going on for you to listen to their radio station online - works pretty well for their site. And I think that's how the main site for Hypster did it for listening there? Something like that here would likely solve the issues and work really well - I imagine the issues would be finding a place to add it and look nice.
