Download Steam and buy Arma II + Arma II Operation Arrowhead (or get them both in Combined Operations) Install Arma II, run it once. Install Operation Arrowhead, run it once. Install the included Beta Patch, run it once. Download DayZ Commander go to "Install" and update to the latest versions of Operation Arrowhead and Beta Patch. Download DayZ through Commander and any other maps/mods you would like to try. Click servers, search or filter for the mod/server you want to play, and double click to join the server! To find a server by IP, click favorites, paste in the IP and click add to favorites. Then search for the name of the server in your favorites list.
