I came across one THE most amazing game I have ever seen. It's called No Man's Sky and it's still in development. It is a randomly generated open world, to scale with the universe with no loading screens, with freedom to do literally anything with no direction whatsoever. The dev's themselves can't even explain how big this world is or count the number of the things you can do. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!

    About
No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated universe.

    A truly open universe
Whether a distant mountain or a planet hanging low on the horizon, you can go there. You can fly seamlessly from the surface of a planet to another, and every star in the sky is a sun that you can visit.
Where you’ll go and how fast you’ll make your way through this universe is up to you. It’s yours for the taking.

Exploration is seeing things no one has ever seen before
Explore uncharted solar systems and catalogue unique new forms of life. Every planet’s landscape is different from the next, and populated by species never before encountered.
Find ancient artefacts that could reveal the secrets behind the universe.
Choose whether to share your discoveries with other players. They’re exploring the same vast universe in parallel; perhaps you’ll make your mark on their worlds as well as your own.

    Survive on a dangerous frontier
Every solar system, planet, ocean and cave is filled with danger, and you are vulnerable.
Your ship and suit are fragile, and every encounter can test your skills to the limit. From dogfighting in space to firstperson combat on a planet’s surface, you will face foes ready to overwhelm you.
And one mistake could see you lose everything. In No Man’s Sky, every victory and every defeat has lasting consequences.

    Build for an epic journey
Whether you want to explore and see things never before discovered, or directly set course for the centre of the galaxy, how you play No Man’s Sky is up to you.
But you cannot take your voyage lightly. You’ll need to prepare.
Collect precious resources on the surfaces of planets and trade them for the ships, suits and equipment that will take you to your destiny in the stars.

Every player spawns on their own new home planet, which adds the planet to the server making the universe larger, and are to scale with actual planets. You may be the only person who will every see that planet. Spend months exploring an entire open world planet and interacting with the world around you. Adapt to survive the planets elements and inhabitants.

Research, farm, and craft technology to build a spaceship to fly to any star or planet you see and explore the brand new planets from above or on ground, which will all be a completely unique world and with different inhabitants.

All players are scattered throughout the universe with no party system, so you may come across another survivor at any time on any planet or anywhere in space, as well as tons of friendly and hostile AI scattered throughout the universe that are inhabitants or maybe flying space ships exploring or taking over planets.

This game is so big and so open world and literally endless, with unlimited planets to explore and unlimited things to do, with a chance of some planets to NEVER even be seen and settled by players.

I keep fearing it'll never release or never approach the hype, but it is so pretty.

Agreed. I really don't know how they can do what they are trying to do, but it they do it will be pure magic. First game of its kind and completely revolutionary to gaming.

They should release on PC first and try Early Access on Steam to iron out the bugs when they are done. If they keep working on a PS4 platform first as they stated, I fear they may fail and either give up or piss a ton of people off.
