Server List Maintenance

OK folks, we need to look at the server list.

Paging - @Abaddon @Trenttos @Supplice @ConstructionZombie @King8Bit @Sandbag @PsychoAco @Cryzark @omeagasara @SloppyNapkin

You're all listed as admins for servers on the list right now.

1. Is your server still up?
2. Is the address/port still accurate?
3. Do you have a join link we should add?

And for everyone -- Are we missing any servers?

Deleting any servers that haven't reported their online status in one week.

 

Funny enough, I was actually thinking about bringing this topic up - last time I brought it up, I ended up forgetting about it but it's kind of important for keeping TS neat and tidy. #woops

I'm listed on Hidden - Hidden is, or should be, down. I kinda dropped that because nobody had interest in it anymore so I asked Sandy to take it down and put resources to something else. (Plus the community on that game is absolutely horrid.)

TS seems to work on both ts.pr-gaming.net and prts.info, default port (assuming default is 9987?) and that's really the only change from the server page. Suppose it doesn't need touching much.

As for Terraria, I'll ask CZ about it and get him in here - he seems to be flopping around a bit on taking it down due to nobody playing/keeping it up and playing on occasion/etc.

 

As long as we're not choked for resources (we aren't, right now), I don't have a problem keeping mostly empty servers up for occasional use. I just want to make sure everything on the list is actually connectable.

As TS Specialist, any preference for the listed domain name?

 

Not really - prts.info seems easier to remember for everyone, but for instances where a bill gets forgotten (... ;P you Sandy) ts.pr-gaming.net is there. That's pretty rare though, so no real preference.

 

DayZ Epoch Server:

1. No, been offline for ages.
2. Not for that server.
3. Irrelevant

Thank you for reminding me that I was working on an A3 server. I forgot - I'll have to resume soon so dont touch any A3 server files please. As far as A2 goes, I unistalled months ago.

- Mumble, yes.
- Reflex is out of date, but it's still up. No one uses it, so we might be able to get rid of it if you want

-Mumble should be redirected to pr-gaming.net instead of prts.info.
-Reflex is right.

- Mumble, just update the join link.
- Reflex, I don't think so.

Yea, as far as I can tell. Terraria doesn't save named IPs, just the address.​

As a side, I have no idea what the new firedaemon link is. Terraria 1.3 is coming eventually, so its really up to the person that is paying for it whether they want it up or not. I'll be fine with continuing to watch it or let it shut down, either way.

 

Giving this a quick bump - have servers started getting purged from the list yet? I was going to add a memo to the TS popup notification to see if we could get extra attention dragged to this.

Also, as an fyi, we have a Warsow and Cube 2 channel from however long ago we set those up - do we still have either of these servers up, @Sandbag? Anybody that might know? I have basically zero info on them.

 

Sorry, I've been lazy on this thread cos Im addicted to minecraft and gw2. I'll check what we have running and reply tomorrow. I closed most of our non populated servers, so currently we're not running much of anything. The only servers I'm personally managing are my own MC servers. I don't want to add them to the list but any PR member is welcome to be whitelisted.

Maybe ask @PsychoAco if he wants to manage the Arena servers, other wise I'll just turn them off.

Okay, giving this one more bump - below are the states of the servers that I know of. Some I am looking for clarity on. I will be tagging people that need to report in. Reason being is I want the TS server list to look more in-line with the server list, meaning offline servers will be removed. Very few servers have been mentioned - let's change that, or TS server list gets purged. I know the website wiki can be inaccurate at times, I am not going by the wiki for that reason.

You have SEVEN days to report in - That is 4/20/2015. Consider any extra time a BLESSING.

It's not running - no one was playing.

 

These are some of the last ones I touched as well. Anything else I had may be removed.

 

servers are still there if people want to play them - I just switched them all off.
