Actually, I think that's Nexuiz. It's a CryEngine3 port of an old Quake mod. Edit -- So, it's not as fast as the old Quakes, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure none of the modern engines have nailed just how quick and twitchy the old Quake stuff was, but it's close enough for my old reflexes.

 

Too bad I can't find it anywhere on Steam. Or anywhere else, for that matter. We should just play UT3. Or Q3A.

 

Ah, just looked that up some. The CryEngine port was a commercial venture by some THQ affiliated studio. So... dead. Evidently it won't even launch unless you firewall it so it doesn't get the shutdown message from their servers. Oy.

I'm all for some UT3 or Q3A though.

Also, Xonotic - the open source game that used to be Nexuiz before they licensed that name to THQ. Looks good.
